Tennyson

What was once a cramped 2,400-square-foot Tudor on Tennyson Street in Denver, with only a main level and basement, has been transformed into a stunning 3,920-square-foot custom home.

Our team completed a full “pop-top” addition—adding a new upper level—while fully remodeling both the main floor and basement. The result is a spacious, open layout designed for a growing family, featuring a music room, private office, four bedrooms, and four bathrooms.

Originally built in 1938, this Tudor-style home required a thoughtful balance of historic preservation and modern remodeling. Our home remodeling and design team carefully curated both interior and exterior details to honor the home’s original architecture while integrating modern functionality. Key features include steep gabled rooflines, a modern fry reglet take on Tudor half-timbering, checkered floor tile, exposed wood ceiling beams, a classic wood-burning stove, brick and tile rowlocks, and custom Tudor glass cabinetry.

While the homeowners requested interior photos remain private, the exterior highlights the craftsmanship, attention to detail, and quality construction that define our Denver custom home building and remodeling projects.
